Catholic Russia has been my favourite play-through in ages

It's a massive breath of fresh air to be able to expand without feeling like you're breaking the game, because the land is awful and it's a bordergore mess in most games anyway.

More than that, you get to help stop Catholicism from getting annihilated without spending half the game defending folk from the Umayyads; you declare so many holy wars against nobody pagan states that Catholic MA is stuck at 100%. For once, Western Europe in the earliest start date looks alright.

Last night I got in diplo range with China and found out I accidentally stole a ton of tier 5 pagan relics, so now I'm going to have them shatter the Abbasids in 895.

Thoroughly enjoying myself. God save the Tsar.

    Prestige and piety overflow bug?

Reposting with imgur link, because the reddit video player is weird and buggy.
So, as can be seen in the video, whenever I win a large battle by a very large margin, instead of gaining prestige/fame or piety, I lose it. I don't think this is intended, as I see no mention of this in game.

    My vassal and my... who?

I've only played Crusader Kings in general for about 120 hours. In the past month or two, I've fallen in love with the game, so I decided to try and reform the Roman Empire for the first time and today I did it!
