    1 thing I think CK2 did better than 3

    Posted: 19 Jun 2021 11:03 PM PDT

Now like everyone else I love CK3 but there's one aspect that slightly annoys me that I miss from CK2, character development. Now in CK2 your character could start out as a kind noble leader but as the years go by you could take actions that could cause you to change that and become a tyrannical drunk, and that kind of progression isn't really possible in CK3, for example, my characters husband was murdered by one of my dukes in cold blood and I thought this was a perfect opportunity to maybe have some change since she was always kind and just but the story being the loss of her one true love made her decide to quit trying to be loved and start being feared instead, but it's extremely unlikely for your character to lose or gain traits once their adults so arresting and executing them would have stressed me out an insane amount because she was too kind and honest to ya know, arrest the person who killed their soulmate. I think the stress mechanic punishes the player for playing outside their "designed role" than it helps. Kinda the same way I feel about alignments in D&D, Just my thoughts idk what do you think?

Can anybody tell me what's going on? I'm losing money due to Merc costs even tho I don't have any raised. (also no boats) I couldn't find anything on this issue and it's pretty much ruining my game right now.

Fun Fact: if you go back far enough in the Hashimid Dynasty tree, you can actually find Muhammad.
