    CK3: Don't love Primogeniture

    Posted: 26 Jan 2021 07:52 AM PST

    Primogeniture kind of sucks.

In practice you generally only get to pick from children, but it can be hard to time out the right heir especially with long-lived rulers.

It can be a bit harder but I much prefer working it all out through elective succession because it gives more options on selecting an heir.

I think Primogeniture pairs well with a religion which allows polygamy because you need lots of options for heirs at every stage.

Are other people using elective succession much? I have occasionally seen succession questions come up, a bit concerned that people aren't fully educated on elective succession.

    Do A.I. marry matrilineally?

    Posted: 26 Jan 2021 07:10 AM PST

I keep losing land when female family members inherit land and do not marry matrilineal. Is there a way to solve this?

Playing as the Kingdom of England from Jórvik in 867 start date - my levees are disappearing due to a bug, any way to get around it? I've tried raising levees then disbanding them immediately, but that doesn't work.

    Repetitive Events.

    Posted: 26 Jan 2021 11:49 AM PST

I can't tell if it's RNG or if there aren't that many events, but it's incredibly rare for me to get any interesting events that actually have interesting outcomes.

I've once got a serial killer event chain and that's literally it. Everything else i've got just gives un-impactful modifiers.

Are others the same or am I just unlucky?

CK3 Multiplayer - Dealing with high Intrigue Players

    Posted: 26 Jan 2021 05:43 AM PST

Hey all, recently started playing multiplayer with several of my friends. A lot of fun but we have realized going intrigue it can be really easy to pick off members, heirs even rulers in each others court.

How can I playing with a ruler of a different style such as diplo or steward take some of that pain away?
