    Comming from a player that was first introduced to HOI4, then EU4 and only when i reached thousand hours in EU4 i started playing CK2.

    At first i was repulsed by CK2's UI, border gore and graphics but over time, as i learned about the game i grew to like it, and then love it and then i realized that no PDX game compares to it except Vic2 and M&T mod for EU4(which by the way deserves way more love from community).

    It's a tough game. It doesn't care about what you think is "OP" or what you think is too much "RNG" and that's exactly what makes it like real life. It's very tough, but once you get it right and push trough difficulties it's the most rewarding thing ever.Feeling you get when your little county or merchant family grow to conquer the world no other PDX game can replace.

    Vic 2 would take a close second, but because of it's age and because paradox wasn't a rich company by the time it was released it isn't as chisseled out as the newer titles, but the idea of Vic 2 overtakes even Ck2.

    But your character is actually a master bullshitter. No matter where you rule from, his reasoning will always be as is : "Alexander's son may or may not have fled to [my capital] after his father's empire fell, let's forge a few papers to claim it and send a shitload of public announcers".

    That's surprisingly bold, dude literally just goes around screaming "ALEXANDER" until someone believes him.

    One wish and a bit of speculation for CK3

    My wish is that multiplayer will be less buggy. No more checksum errors if you accidentally hit singleplayer, the ability to hotjoin, or even the ability to change characters without even exiting the game for games where every character death you take a new realm.

    Also, with the mention of development in the DDs, I suspect that CK3 and EU4's Emperor might drop around the same time, and possibly even with a new and better converter from CK3 --> EU4.
