Paradox, please consider revising the government system of CK3 Posted: 06 May 2020 04:55 AM PDT I've been closely following the developement of CK3 since it was announced, and the more dev diaries I read, the more I am amazed to see how really big portions of the game - intrigue, dynasties, currency, buildings, and religion - were so lovingly and dedicatedly reworked into much more modernized and cool systems. However, the almost unchanged, and arguably regressed government system stands in stark contrast to all this. One of the most requested changes in CK2 was a more dynamic feudal contract, as well as governemnts that were not too similar to feudalism. So having a feudal contract at all is a step up, but having only 3 options in it, which are all summed up in some numbers, seems like a huge waste - In CK2 for example the various laws, including vassal obligations, title revocation, and much more allow for a lot of flexibility, and they could easily be converted (as well as added to) into parts of the feudal contract. Also, I am sure that the people of the community will agree with me that the two government systems other than feudalism seem too close to feudalism, and that's a bit disappointing - from what I understand, we won't even get the imperial adminstriation and tribal government of CK2, which albeit the hard-coded restricions, managed some deviation from feudalism.
