Started 1066 as William, after about 30 years the crusades started and i looked east, i thought it looked weird. Its now been about 50 years, and it seems the Byzantines somehow vassalized the Seljuks and just kept on going. They look TERRIFYING, but it makes an entertaining endgame boss:)

Don't you hate it when your beefy vassal, the Pope, kills you, the emperor, in a duel, despite how hard you fought with your oversized 3D-printed replica of that sword from Berserk?

For an absolute CK2 Newcomer what are the must have DLCs?

    Posted: 26 Feb 2020 08:45 AM PST

Pretty new to the subreddit and CK2 as a whole . Picked up CK2 recently from steam as it was recently F2P...I have been meaning for a long time to buy CK2 but really didn't find the time or money . I have played other paradox games like EU4, Hoi4 and Stellaris so I'm wondering if the DLCs in CK2 are more/less equivalent to the DLCs in those games

Any tips are appreciated as well.

Also if anyone can notify me what flair this post should have that would be great.

If I move my capital to Arabia/Europe could I potentially get Alexander's bloodline as a Persian?

    Posted: 26 Feb 2020 05:23 AM PST

For whatever reason the game rules are such that you can't get the event if your capital is in Persia.
