    What is your favourite start date and why?

    Posted: 19 Dec 2019 04:47 AM PST

    I am trying to find a decent start to start a long game while roleplaying (not as a catholic) but I can't quite find one as (in my opinion) the earliest starts dates create huge border gore and the map looks everything but enjoyable and latest make catholics extremely strong to the point where they become unstoppable

    Ultra RP based Ck2 game.

    Ultra RP based Ck2 game.

    So, I'm kind of inspired to do this by Assassin's Creed. Don't hurt me ;-;

    The idea was to start as a muslim and join the assassin order, as the ruler who held Masyaf. I made it my capital holding, yes I know not economically the best idea but I don't care. I just want an ultra roleplay based game with a dynasty of assassins' and I want to see how far I can get. I have no ambition to become king or whatnot, just play ultra tall. What do people think?

    guys whats the best (fastest) way to get claims? [Read Post]

    Posted: 19 Dec 2019 07:39 AM PST

    I'm playing as William the Bastard/Conquer and I've taken England, but I want to make the entirety of the English Isles united (Scotland, Whales, Ireland). I've started taking Whales but I spend about 20 minutes waiting for claims to be fabricated to about 5 minutes of action. Is there a way to speed this up? Or are there any mods that remove the need for claims? Anything helps.

    Suddenly landless

    Posted: 19 Dec 2019 06:03 AM PST

    I think i just encountered a bug and can't figure out how to remedy this as I'm in an ironman game. I'm playing as a germanic norse, i recently reformed the faith into a warmongering matriarchy, in case that's the source of the bug. But a few years have passed since I did that. well currently I'm holding 3 king titles, trying to form scandinavia. As I was raiding the north of france i suddenly noticed that i lost a third of my domain size (capacity went from 6 to 4) and it turns out the reason is that I suddenly switched government type from tribal to "landless" now all my vassals hate me because I'm of the wrong government type. I thought that this may be an aftereffect of introducing matriarchy so i tried to kill my male character off in order to play as my daughter, however as soon a i died she adopted the government type "landless" while not actually being landless at all.Has anyone experienced this before or even knows how this situation may have been caused or be salvaged?

    what are some cool non-world changing mods

    Posted: 19 Dec 2019 11:21 AM PST

    i couldn't find anything else in this subreddit. what are some cool mods that a lot of peeps use but don't change gameplay? i would use anime portraits but they're not quality enough. otherwise, the only mods i have are renaming titles and continuing past 1453 because i think the game ending itself for you is stupid

    Is it me or are Seljuks (and Timur I guess?) scarier than the Mongols?

    Posted: 19 Dec 2019 10:52 AM PST

    Especially if you're playing as somebody with land in Persia?

    Seems like the Mongols never leave Mongolia. Whereas Seljuk invades your realm with 70,000 men and it's pretty difficult to get the levies to beat that if your highest tech level is 3 or 4..
