Catholics should not be allowed to form empires If the HRE exists

    Posted: 23 Nov 2021 08:06 AM PST

In medieval Europe it would of been considered a literal heresy to call yourself an emperor if you were the Holy Roman Emperor. It's partly why they would address the Byzantines as "King of the Greeks" on occasion or why catholic crusaders would call him a king and not an emperor on occasion. Even if they had an empire they wouldn't be an emperor. And mechanically it'd make getting a stable succession type a lot more important and fun.

At the very least they shouldn't call themselves an emperor in game because none of them would of used a title like that.

Any thoughts on this I think it'd help balance how op playing as a catholic is

We need more restore kingdom/empire options

    Posted: 23 Nov 2021 06:21 AM PST

I don't think I'm the only person here that wants options like restore Carthage or to restore an old culture. Also could we break up the Greco-Roman faith cause I want to say blessed be Jupiter.

Improved Resolution of the De Toulouse Dynasty (Ironman Mode). With the older post being too low of resolution that I didn't think about.

Want to live to over 100?

    Posted: 24 Nov 2021 12:20 AM PST

First, become the leader of the satanists.

Second, find the most fertile, breedable wife you can. Multiple wives are preferable.

Third, shoot out your sperm like a machine gun and get those babies.

Fourth, consume their lifeforce. Babies are a resource, just like money. They only exist to keep you alive. Keep consuming each one until you get +3 health. This will pretty much guarantee that you live for a LONG time, especially if you have other good traits like Strong that give you health.

Fifth, find a use for the babies that miraculously make it to adulthood. They can be good generals, but let's be honest, they will likely suck at everything, so entertain yourself by making them inbreed. Make yourself the guardian of their babies and consume their lifeforces just for fun.

Sixth, remember that your +3 health lasts for a certain time. You will eventually need to eat more babies. Replace your breeding hole when it become useless and keep making babies. Always have about two to three infants ready to consume so you won't have to live like a regular mortal.

If you follow this advice, you can probably get old enough to outlive your grandchildren.

I invaded a single county and they raised 600,000 soldiers against me

    Posted: 23 Nov 2021 06:58 PM PST

It's a single county with no allies and an estimated strength of 600 levies. The moment I declared war they raised 90,000 soldiers, and as soon as we engaged in combat the 90,000 grew to over 500,000. How is this possible?

    Anyone else do low-cheat runs?

    Posted: 22 Nov 2021 08:37 PM PST

AKA "I really want to do this roleplaying decision but it needs 25 gold, and I have 15, better type in 'wealth 10' and do it."

That is, not runs where you put on yesmen and offer everyone and their mother vassalization, but some little things. Maybe you've got an island county that doesn't have a shipbuilder, so you build one there for free (let's be real, they should have a shipbuilder if they've lived on that island for centuries) or maybe you're removing an annoying trait from your character that doesn't fit the persona you want to give them.

Am I alone in this and utterly despicable for using cheats?
