Disinheriting should be cheaper for criminal children

    Posted: 22 Nov 2021 01:44 AM PST

I believe that a good way to balance gameplay and historicity is that the act of disinheriting a child is weighed down with the vices, virtues and crimes of the child in question. I recently had a son who was having an affair with a courtesan. Being Asatru I could imprison him and banish him, but disinherit him still had the standard cost. I believe that a discount on disinheriting an ungrateful child is a good solution, perhaps increasing the base cost

    Assassinations shouldn't be that easy?

    Posted: 21 Nov 2021 11:28 PM PST

Does anyone else think that assassinations are too easy in ck3? Especially long range ones.

E.g. I was playing a Norse king of Sicily so I was constantly raiding the Mediterranean cities. With around 10 intrigue and no intrigue focus, I managed to assasinate 3 Byzantine Emperors and 2 Abbasid Caliphs, for the sole purpose of destabilizing their realm so I can raid easier. Every plot started with 95 percent.

I mean I get that such rulers of large empires have a lot of people who hate them and would be willing to join murder plots. But I don't think I should be able to "organize" a murder plot in Baghdad so easily while sitting in Palermo in the year 890 AD.

Such plots outside my realm should be made much more difficult, even for people who go full on intrigue. And it should be 100 times more expensive... Like, I don't need to spend a penny right now to kill "Emperors"! It doesn't make sense. :)

By far my favorite character so far I’ve ended up with. She died at 76, established kingdom of Portugal and her son is emperor of Spain now. New player, kinda proud of it.

Feature Suggestion: Inbreeding filter on find spouse window

    Posted: 22 Nov 2021 12:00 PM PST

Does anyone else sometimes find it tedious to find desirable spouses that aren't related?

We desperately need a filter for inbreeding on the find spouse window. Mid-game it's easy to lose track of all of the different dynasties that are related and then late-game you can marry kids to distant cousins and it doesn't count as inbreeding.

Well, that makes succession easier. My 8th child is now my sole heir. I started with 7 daughters in row, what are the odds of that?
