    Has anybody else the feeling that the death screen text sometimes doesn't do the characters justice?

    I had a female character who murdered countless rulers, abducted guests in order to recruit them, tortured her prisoners and even survived typhus. But all the death screen had to say about her was that she once was very beautiful but then turned old...

    Her son didn't get away any better. He was a military genius, fought in a crusade (that went terribly), was fun at parties and his realm prospered under his rule. All the game remembered him for was him becoming fragile a few months before his death at the age of 70...

    There should be a "Renaissance" tech tier after late medieval

    It would be unlocked at about 1350 and should contain gunpowder. Right now it's way too easy to max out tech in the early 1200s.

    Renaissance should be hard to attain, and exist as a reward for the most advanced/developed empires. Most shouldn't max it out by the end of timeline (as currently happens with late medieval)
