    Court Physician has died Notification

    Posted: 19 Oct 2021 02:16 AM PDT

Unless I'm missing something... It would be great to have this. Tired of my knights getting wounded and suddenly there's 'nothing to be done' because my physician has died.

If someone can point me in the direction of a mod which doesn't impact ironman, that would be really appreciated!

Perfect heir, congenital stats, already gave her the best holdings. My 15 year old heir: Yes I think I'll marry an 82 year old.

I betrothed my heir to the Duke of Tuscany's little sister, murdered her older brothers so she could claim power, and have spent the last 37 years helping her defend and slightly expand her territory. The long game is incredibly satisfying

Got excited and thought the patch dropped because of the new UI. Accidentally pressed 'Host Game' instead of 'Load'. I'm jonesing for the Royal Court, Paradox!

1067 Start - House Crovan should be Tribal, not Feudal!

    Posted: 19 Oct 2021 12:01 PM PDT

Here you are, playing as the descendant of Ivar the Boneless, and also as the House that in history formed the Kingdom of Mann, and you cannot form the Kingdom of Mann because you cannot raid!

    Absolute tosh I tell you.

I'm playing as King Alfred for my first ever RP type campaign and I have to say this is the most fun I've ever had in CK3.

    Posted: 19 Oct 2021 02:34 AM PDT

Every single one of my campaigns before this I played very "gamey", min/maxed, and arbitrarily expanded for no real reason other than wanting to be powerful and have an impressive empire. It got old pretty quickly. After around 280 hours into it I was losing interest and was going to take a break until now.

I'm having so much more fun roleplaying as Alfred and making decisions that fit his personality rather than the most optimal decisions. With the moniker "The Great" I'm really trying to live up to it. Saving East Anglia from the viking invaders and ousting them from Southern England, developing my lands making Wessex a place of learning and prosperity, slowly taking back the lands lost to the vikings in Northern England, and I even helped my ally, the king of Lotherangia, take all of Franconia. I'd say that's pretty great.

I have done a couple gamey things like take Cornwall for no reason other than I got a random unpressed claim but I'm sticking to RP as much as I can. The gamey side of me really REALLY wants to take Mercia for myself but Alfred has no reason to as England must secure it lands from the vikings rather than fight eachother.

I absolutely love playing like this now and it has really refreshed the game for me.

    Will paradox add Societies?

    Posted: 19 Oct 2021 05:09 AM PDT

Does anyone think they'll add them into ck3? Or is there a mod adding them in? It would be fun to be in the warriors lodge once again!
