    332 hours in and the war AI has made me uninstall.

    ESPECIALLY in Crusades. Ill give you the run down of the most recent crusade. This one was even curated by me using console commands to try to actually make things work for once, but alas the AI is so bad it makes the fucking Dev cheats useless.

    1 - we literally outnumber the enemy 2 to 1.

    2 - The pope and about 10 thousand others land in Antioch, waltz around Baghdad then just stays there until they die. There goes about 20 thousand of the 50 thousand army for about 2 years until the AI decides to send them to Jerusalem.

    3 - My humble force of 2500 land near the Sinai peninsula with the other 30 thousand crusaders. We carpet siege 80% of the holy land, not one battle.

    4 - Muslims start carpet unsieging the lands we are right next too and no one does anything about it.

    5 - Muslim doomstack of 30 thousand (mostly mercs as the AI put itself into collectively thousands of gold in debt for them) comes through the holy land and attacks a papal army.

    6 - The Catholic armies which at this point have all congregated into an area where no army is more than half a month away decide to help.

    7- Muslim doomstack destroys me but it takes just long enough to the next 3k crusader stack to jump on in.

    8 - this process repeats itself with one stack coming in and getting destroyed and another repeating it.

    9 - catholic Ai decides to hold back 10k troops (which would've won the war) until every other stack has died then rushes in and dies.

    10 - The end. Just like that, in one single battle the entire 5 year war ends. The enemies unsieged basically every county in the kingdom of Jerusalem and wiped out a twice as big, twice as rich army in one fight.

    Its fucking dogshit. Genuinely abhorrent how bad the AI is in this game. Its every fucking war. I'm sick of it. I'm done. I'm not playing this game anymore until they fix it. I'm not buying the next DLC or downloading the next patch. This isnt enjoyable. Every fucking game turns into a 5 speed point and click because the games too easy in every regard expect war (which is only because the AI, but the trick to that is just investing money into buildings because AI never does) and all the roleplaying potential got burnt out after 100 hours even with mods.
