    The most CK3 thing happened in my game last night.

    Now I'm not your CK player that goes on insane breeding programs or child murder rampages to insure "one true heir", I generally like to RP each character as they come and go.

    That being said... last night, July 4, was playing a session while comforting my dogs. 1st I launch a Holy War for the Duchy of Multan and win. Then I give away a county without realizing I don't have the title yet. Followed by war on my sons to get the counties back.

    Then someone goes on a murder spree in my court. (I sold many plush carpets, without identifying the kind gift giver). Killing all my male heirs. Leaving me with female heirs that I married off for alliances.

    Then I die of stress.

    My female heir has only a non dynasty son.

    She finally forms the Duchy of Multan.

    Now about the whole game ending when I die thing...

    I attempt to murder my husband and am about to imprison my minor child when Boom divorce!

    I decided not to imprison my kid and remarry.

    I have a son and two daughters with my new husband (who doesn't wear clothes, my IRL wife would probably say "yep, that's about right").

    I conquer a 2nd Duchy so that my new son will be a Duke.

    Everything is peaceful for awhile.

    Then for my 54th birthday my player heir son is killed without any children.

    Now, my character is a 54 year old woman with a non player heir son and two dynasty daughters. Time to start murdering.

    First I look to see if my first son produced any grand kids... 6. Start murder plot on the oldest.

    Go to imprison my son and realized... he no longer lives in my court!! Alright, where has this S.O.B. gotten too?

    Oh, it looks like his wife has been granted a Barony in the Hindu Kush mountains. So I fabricate on the county that holds the Barony.

    1st grandkid killed... massive stress, secret revealed... massive dread and hate

    2nd grandkid killed... same, same.

    My Brahmin fabricates...WAR, UH! Good God y'all, what is it good for?

    Child murder.

    So my 5k walk halfway across India, kill their 500 and I win the county.

    Imprison daughter in law in the war, AND execute.

    Imprison son, AND execute.

    Massive tyrant. Everyone hates me, but massive dread....so, Sassind Persia launches a holy War with 15k doom stacks in 963!!!!

    3rd grand child killed.

    Now it's hide/seek and don't get captured and executed.

    4th grand child avoids the assassin and I can't kill her, on to #5!

    Finally realize, oh yeah I built a really strong economy... so, buy all the Mercs!!!

    Hunt down doom stack with 7k Merc army. WIN!!!

    Phew

    Murder grand kid #5.

    Suddenly I now have a dynastic heir!!!

    WooHoo!!!

    1 tick later... Viper in my bed.. dead.

    This ends the tale of the Duchess of Multan.

    But her dynasty continues.

    Now if I can just conquer the Duchy of Multan from my half Aunt. It's much bigger and richer than my lands...

    But I think they have the money to raise 2k Mercs 🤔

    The Exilharchy

    CK3 has some interesting game play with the Jewish faith and restoring israel and the priesthood but i think this could be an interesting plus.

    The exilharchs we're the direct descendants of king david and were living in Baghdad until the 1200s. The abbasids also recognized them as the rulers of their Jewish subjects and below only the caliph.

    I think you could add them as an unlanded house in the abbasid caliphate. This could also give you a new angle and major decision as a jewish character. If you could marry into the family you could have a major decision 'claim decent from king david' and gain lots of prestige. The abbasids also recognized their descent from king david so it could provide some prestige bonuses for Christian and Muslims as well.

    Its just an idea but let me know what you think. I might write this into a proper recommendation on the forum.

    This game motivates me to learn about history

    I've always been passionate about history, but school textbooks bored me to no end. And things like historical movies, tv shows managed to burn a sparkle in me to find out more about historical figures and events just for the fun of it. And for a while, I've been interested in Norse and British history (thanks to the Last Kingdom and Vikings) and to my surprise when I've launched the game I found familiar faces like Alfred the Great, Ragnar's sons, Harald Finehair and etc. I thought the game wasn't based on real figures and was more like 'create your guy and have fun'.

    And I've been always peculiar about roleplaying and staying true to the character. So I've been playing as Alfred uniting England and stuff and when it came to the kingdom of Wales, I realised I don't know anything about it, same as Scots despite Britain having a rich history with those guys. So I went out to the internets to find more about them and had so much fun. And next time when I decide to play for a different empire, I would do some research to learn more about them for more accurate roleplay. And doing so actually motivates me to learn the game because this game is literally rocket science. An hour-long tutorial inside of the game and 2+ hours of official tutorials on YouTube. Damn.

    On a side note, do I want to install mods or just experience the vanilla until I'm familiar with the game? Perhaps there are some QoL improvement mods that I should consider?

    Not gonna lie I am getting sick and tired of having multiple events culminate in "COUNT JOEBOB OF CRAPHEAP IS TRYING TO HAVE YOUR WIFE KILLED!!!" from my spymaster only to get a "tyranny" pop-up when I try to imprison him despite having just been told there is undeniable evidence that he just tried to kill my wife and soulmate. It just does not make any sense.

    I feel like if my spymaster has spent 4 months constantly popping up on my screen while trying to discover the murder scheme I should at the very LEAST be able to attempt imprisonment on the person without enacting any penalties. Meanwhile if my unmarried marshal does the horizontal monster mash with an unmarried woman I am able to imprison HER without any issues at all.

    I love this game to death, but god damn if it doesn't feel like there are massive holes in logic when it comes to certain interactions.

    What are the chances of a "title creator" in the future?

    I think I'd be very interesting to be able to change your title. For example instead of King of Norway you become Prince of Norway or Archduke of Norway. Is there any possibility that something like this will be added in the future? It's a little detail but I think it'll go a long way
