My first Hæsteinn Playthrough. At the very first battle, Hæsteinn dies, forcing me to play as his son Ragnarr. Now 39 years old, Ragnarr has lost several children to SmallPox, had several wives cheat on him and have every English ruler attempt to annex him. My favorite character story thus far.

Gave Sigurdr Snake-in-the-Eye's son an albino wife and a piece of land. He promptly got drunk and started fucking his grandmother at age 17.

    This game is deep

Playing as White Rus' and had an epic king who was a living legend and paragon of virtue. He attended every feast he was invited too. Gained eager reveler then eventually gained legendary reveler which in turn gave him obesity and he died from it a few years later.

I was so pissed because this king was only 55, athletic, and going down the medicine tree. He was my best king by far and accomplished so much. I was so pumped to be getting all of these positive lifestyle traits that I didn't see the obvious negative side effects of attending too many feasts, aka obesity.

Rip King Mitrofan. May Rod guide you through the afterlife.

TIP: BUILD IN YOUR MAYORS CITIES

    Posted: 10 Jun 2021 04:34 PM PDT

I've noticed that many people even big Crusader Kings streamers don't build in their barons cities but you absolutely should because many of the bonuses you get from city buildings apply to the entire holding and not just the city itself.

Revoking Baronies also doesn't grant any tyranny so if you have a character that has went down the architect tree you can save on the cost of the buildings as well as the construction time and probably finish every building in multiple cities in the lifetime of one ruler if you revoke the baronies. It will hamper you in the short term because you won't receive any bonuses but once you finish it it will pay off greatly when you grant it to a new low noble.
