    In Ireland it was custom to suck the kings nipples to show loyalty. People would cut off rivals nipples to disqualify them from the throne. Why can't I cut off nipples? They get to Blind people in the Byzantine Empire.

    I've been reading the excellent 'The Popes' by John Julius Norwich, and what strikes me is that for much of its history, the Papacy has been extraordinarily unstable and at times, extremely weak and under the foot of secular rulers.

    In contrast, the Papacy of the CK games appears to be a model of functionality. Sure, there are sometimes anti-popes, and at other times Catholicism itself collapses in the face of Islam/Orthodoxy/Paganism etc. , but the Papacy itself appears to be nothing more than a mechanism for launching crusades and providing tax returns.

    My son and heir is jailed and tortured by my best friend, and it would make so much sense if there could be an interaction/event to ask him to release him, or at least stop torturing him... I also wish there was an event to rescue loved ones from prison, or go to war to get them released. So many opportunities in this area.
