    Was looking at this WC disintegration by the AI https://www.reddit.com/r/CrusaderKings/comments/lxk8gr/i_gave_the_ai_control_over_the_earliest_ever_ck3/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web2x&context=3 - very cool, but it's a shame that it disintegrates in such an ahistorical way. IRL wouldn't it have just shrunk down to its core provinces and then disappeared like the western empire or byzantium?

    Perhaps there should be a distance to capital opinion malus for far away vassals. Would be more realistic and would provide an element of challenge once you've snowballed to empire size.

    Does anyone here still play CK2 just for the sake of depth this game still offers? Or you all moved to play CK3?

    Since I started to play CK3, I find it hard to play CK2 again, even though I feel that CK3 is too empty in comparison (at the moment)...

    Any recommendations for CKIII mods that add to monastic life & religious orders?

    Am feeling a wee bit frustrated that making my children monks/nuns is a negative opinion mechanic almost like a "punishment". Historically dropping kids into religious orders was very common and was part of a whole dynamic of power and wealth within the church (ie, princesses automatically becoming the convents Abbess even though they're new to town). The church is imo really underdeveloped in the vanilla version so far and I'm hoping someone might be able to recommend some mods which add to this? (I understand it from a gameplay mechanics perspective, perhaps they don't want to make it too easy to get rid of extra kids, but as I'm playing for fun medieval flavour, I demand more monks!)

    Have been trying to get the achievement, stated above. However, I'm not able to get it. Each marriage and player heir has been between first born son and daughter for about 3-4 generations. Playing on small diplo range iceland. Please assist. Will post photo if need be.
