Crusader Kings Feudal Friday : October 02 2020 |
- Feudal Friday : October 02 2020
- I hereby want to congratulate Paradox on releasing a game that is worthy of being called a sequel to CK2.
- My heir had twin sons and apparently he figured out it's going to be too easy to tell which is which since they had different hair colors, so he gave them both the same name...
- The Pope took on a very fitting name for himself...
- Today I Discovered : There is a cat in this painting
- The most Hated Man in the Universe
- Iberia looks beautiful today
- I made a mod to make it easier to see character ranks, it's my first mod ever so it's probably far from perfect. It's Ironman compatible, and maybe others will enjoy it also so I though I'd share it here. Link in comments.
- CK3 Map: All Special Buildings, Mines & Universities
- As a PhD Student in Islamic Studies, I Made Two Videos Reviewing Islam in CK3
- It do be like that more often than it don't be like that
- Friend: So, how much do you like the game? Me:
- Pilgrimages to Jerusalem? Pfft, that's so 1099. Why not just bring the Holy Land to you?
- Cant believe more people like their cousin than go crusading with the boys
- Lost my primary kingdom title and a bunch of vassals to a populist revolt targeting my liege, with no chance of protesting
- The 101 year old Bishop who got my 23 year old vassal pregnant..... I mean who could really resist his charms
- She.
- Only in Crusader Kings
- Holy moly, this AI Blob-zantium could possibly restore Rome. I wonder if Byzantine AI has any predilections towards doing so?
- Why is this slightly blurry
- Who is skimming my ransom money? I know of overhead costs but this is ridiculous.
- For Whom the Bell Tolls...
- Not a 100 years war, but just as painful
- Some people are born more equal than othes
- Begone... THOTT!

Posted: 02 Oct 2020 01:54 AM PDT I remember the initial expectations not being good. Many of us believed that the release of CK3 will be a disappointment in many ways. In reality, we got the best Paradox game to date. Thank you! [link] [comments]

As a PhD Student in Islamic Studies, I Made Two Videos Reviewing Islam in CK3 Posted: 01 Oct 2020 11:56 PM PDT Hey all, I thought this might be interesting to the folks here, because it got shared on the Paradox forums (not by me!) and they seemed to enjoy it! I'm a PhD student in Islamic Studies, and I also love historical strategy games (particularly the historical Total War games and Paradox games). After COVID put everything online, I ended up with tons of time on my hands, and decided to restart my YouTube channel, focusing on historical video games! One of them is obviously CK3, and, lo and behold, it represents the very topic I'm doing my PhD in: Islam in the early to late medieval period! So I decided to do a quick review (overview of sorts) of the two starting dates: Note that I know I make a mistake at the end of the 1066 video. It's been pointed out, and I'm aware of it! I'm still learning the game, since I "only" have 50 hours in it (I don't know it like the back of my hand yet like EU4, in which I have 1k hours!). Also, please note that I don't mean to blast Paradox in any way - I really enjoy their games, and any criticism is just meant to be constructive. Next week, I'll be doing a full video on what I think an Islam DLC can look like to really improve the gameplay in the "Muslim world" to give a historically inspired immersive gameplay experience! Hope you enjoy! [link] [comments]
