There will definitely need to be a way to support the independence of a foreign vassal in CK3

I can't stress it enough, I love how CK3 is turning out to be, it just looks amazing. But there's one thing which I haven't yet seen (hopefully it just hasn't been shown) but that would be a game changer and make CK3 both a lot more interesting gameplay-wise, and far more historical. That is, supporting the independence of vassals in foreign realms.
Historically, the vast amount of wars were not fought to directly take land for yourself, but to diminish a rival's territory or influence. In fact, wars to gain a county were only ever fought when you had a claim on that land. Looking at history, even when at peace, rival realms always tried to diminish each other's power by playing the enemy's vassal against each other. England did it with France and France with the HRE. Hell, supporting the independence of the HRE's Italian vassals was the largest reason why the Pope kept its territorial independence all that time. It would make the game a lot more historical to make it possible to support the enemy's vassal's independence when, say, the vassal is ambitious, in a faction or has a different culture/religion than his liege. It would also be a lot funnier and make it harder to manage large, diverse empires like the HRE, who would have, like it historically did, constantly have to fight the various Italian states striving for independence and supported by the Pope (a step towards this has already been done by making independence-factions different and more homogeneous).

I just see no problem with this, it would make the game funnier, more historical and more challenging for the larger realms, while also deeply expanding the diplomatic side of warfare in an extremely simple way

What a terrible shame it is that the branch of the family who captured, blinded, and killed my mother after stealing her titles keep disappearing in mysterious ways.

Neat little thing I found out

Have you ever, like me, been a big vassal of some king/emperor and gone INSANE trying to figure out exactly who holds what in your realm because the direct vassals map does NOT show you YOUR vassals?

Now, I'm sure that a lot of people knew this already, but if you are in the normal mapmode (the one that shows you the de facto realms), you can press ctrl and left click on any kingdom and it will show you their vassals; but you can also click on any of those vassals, and it will show you their vassals (or your vassals, depending on where you're standing on the ladder).
And if they have vassals, you can do it again and it will show you the vassal's vassals vassals!

It's not only potentially useful to get an idea of everybody's relative strenght, but it also adds so many extra layers of that unnecessary nerdiness that I know we all love.
(I discovered it by mistake and I was mindblown)
