As I was waiting for the game to open the other day, I glanced at the tip and realised something. Despite more than two and a half thousand hours, I have never once had my family demand titles because I was childless and old. Suddenly I feel somewhat left out....

The perfect amount of troops (sry for the bad quality, I sent the picture originally to a friend who then saw the amount of troops and it was already to late to make a screenshot)

    MTTH is underrated

    Posted: 08 May 2020 09:16 AM PDT

MTTH (mean time to happen) is the best mechanic to simulate randomness imo. I think more pdx games should implement it.

Ck2: "Need to fabricate a claim? Well my brilliant chancellor knows exactly what to do but he will need to find some paperwork and do some research and if we're lucky he'll have it by next year, but if he doesn't find it we'll be delayed for 6 months unfortunately"

Eu4: "need to fabricate a claim? You'll have it on your desk on Monday the 24th of January 1446 at 12 sir"

It would be very useful for any game that uses inventions as well, as vic2 does (don't know about stellaris) but defo should be in imperator.

Why wouldn't pdx use MTTH more? I've come to understand it won't be used in ck3. Am I alone in thinking it's a good mechanic?

If I claim Scotland for a kinsman as King of England, do I take both and become an emperor, or does he become his own king and leave me?
