    First CK3 game ever after playing ck2 for 5 years, chose alfred of wessex cuz he's supposed to be "hard" but it seems iron man mode in this game is easy af compared to ck2

    Royal Court being delayed is not the frustrating part. It is the quantity of resources being given to the CK3 team that is frustrating.

    CK3 has received 1 small content (Northern Lords) and the character creator since release.

    In that same time and by the END OF THIS YEAR, EU4 will have received two large expansions (including the newly announced one, which will be released before Royal Court)

    HOI4 will have received (by November) two large expansions and I believe one or two small addons

    Stellaris will have received 2 species packs and one large expansion.

    Even Imperator received the massive Marius revamp.

    I completely get why Royal Court is being delayed and I support the team, however, based on the releases of the other games, this team is just not getting the same quantity of resources.

    Why is the Norse paganism called Asatru in CK3?

    To me it just seems silly, Asatru is a name invented in the 19th century specifically for the revived version of the Old Norse religion, the original one itself didn't really have any kind of name. While CK2's way of calling it Germanic isn't really correct either (Old Norse religion is just one of the several religions in the Germanic religion group, most of which was wiped out in continental Europe before and during Charlemagne's campaigns), I feel like Asatru misses the mark even more.

    Wanted to know if this is an issue only i face. I frequently have to marry my courtiers (whose husbands died during war) to get new knights. So sorting by prowess is something Im frequently doing. And its so annoying that all 6 skills are there for quick sorting but prowess takes a little bit longer. Wouldnt be so annoying if i didnt have to do it so frequently. Just wish theyd update that in the game.

    A Dune Mod

    "Dune" is recently a very viral topic. I've been thinking about engaging in this world a little bit more and modding a paradox games is in my opinion one of the best ways to do this. People made a Star Wars mod for HoI4, so is there a small chance (even the smallest) that somewhere in the internet people are working on a Dune mod for Ck3?

    I'm all in favour of polishing DLC before release, but DLC shouldn't be put up for sale before it's ready. The Royal Edition has turned into an insult to fans.

    I genuinely feel PI owe something extra to the people who shelled out for the Royal Edition. I am NOT one of those people, this isn't a personal rant, not bought Royal Edition or the Season Pass deal.

    But to take money for something you know doesn't exist yet is kinda shady. At the same time, I endorse PI not 'crunching' staff (hopefully they're not) just to get a game done.

    This situation really only negatively affects PI's most loyal customers who purchased RE/SP on faith alone. I feel they deserve recompense.

    Sadly I don't know what PI could offer that wouldn't cause an outcry from those missing out. Game development is tough!

    playing as king of leon

    game going good, taking territory

    in the middle of a war, when suddenly everyone hates me

    i was excommunicated by the pope for not showing up to the crusade as a previous ruler ~40 years ago due to an already ongoing war

    france declares war

    vassals plot to overthrow me

    they do so

    get demoted to prince of one county

    rage-quit, i had spent 5 solid hours on this run by that point

    complain to myself about how "bad the game is" and "it's so unfair, I hate this"

    10 minutes later have calmed down, and return to my computer

    open ck2 again, start a new game, same kingdom

    I can't stop going back to ck2 despite frustration about the game
