Opinion of predecessor should apply to other inheritors as well

    Posted: 30 Jul 2021 11:50 AM PDT

I understand that my father was a shitheel. I even understand holding me accountable for his sins and wanting to tear me apart to a degree. What I don't understand is, why my siblings/other inheritors don't have the same penalties when making a claimant faction? We share the same shitheel father, so it doesn't make much sense to me that you should prefer him over me, especially when my traits are virtuous and his are sinful.

    That's all. Thanks.

Anyone else think playable Holy Orders would be incredible?

    Posted: 30 Jul 2021 04:46 AM PDT

Especially with a custom religion. You could make rules regarding celibacy or no, whether non members can hold lands or no, whether children of members are automatically included or no. Be neat to have a pure meritocracy or electoral system for it. Maybe if you have members from prestigious families it increases the order renown. Any other thoughts on this?

What's it like playing as Armenia at the 1066 Start Date?

    Posted: 30 Jul 2021 09:04 AM PDT

Like what is it like playing as Armenia during this time period and how do you do it? I was hoping to become or stay the Christian Kingdom of Armenia but wanted advice.

Crusader Kings is a very good pen and paper simulation.

The more I think about it, it seems to really be like the most of the time. The opportunities and what you can answer, the way you can form your next character, the event's, the battle dice rolls, the way you get information about the current situation.

And especially the game philosophy of "the path is the goal" without in stone writing conditions to 'win', like in other strategic games (civ for example).
