    What is this monstrosity?

    Posted: 17 Oct 2020 07:00 AM PDT

You know what really grind my gears?

    Posted: 17 Oct 2020 06:07 AM PDT

-Wonky AI allies that dance around in place and never help in battle.

-Being Scandanavia and having the Pope call crusade after crusade, losing every one, and Catholicism basically remaining the strongest religion with 0 fervor. BTW while I control Rome.

-Having titles randomly disintegrate and while we're on it vassal management.

-Having to click ransom over and over because mass ransom button is useless. Then getting a bajillion popups that I can't mass close.

-Dying loved by your vassals and playing as your heir immediately bombarded with factions to overthrow and your vassals all hating your guts.

-The busted ass army quality indicators

-pressing local army and getting my entire doom stack instead.

-At times being attacked by another country without any real notification besides a little side bar.

-lack of war exhaustion/low war score for kills. If I keep stack wiping thousands of your troops and you keep sending them to me, why are your people not pissed/why can I not win the war quicker? I've literally wiped someone's army out from 20k to 0 and seen them repeatedly send 1k stacks while war score stays at like 15.

-massive drop in military power when moving from tribal to feudal. Recent game I went from 55k to 10k.

-vassal contracts giving zero gold and 10 dudes with pitchforks.

-losing fame and relation for rejecting an allies offensive war.

That's all I can think of right now lol........

    That bad, huh?

Maybe add a force/forbid knight option by right clicking a charecter on their charecter screen?

    Posted: 17 Oct 2020 08:07 AM PDT

I think this will make the game a little smoother. For example if I have an heir come of age I don't have to scroll through the list to find him. In a big empire that list can be massive. Also useful for good councilors or forcing someone to be a Knight so they die without having to find them in the list.

Allow Second Sons to become crusade beneficiaries

    Posted: 17 Oct 2020 10:00 AM PDT

A big reason for a lot of crusader involvement was due to second sons wanting land/prestige/influence/power for their own. As well as many lords just wanting their other sons out of the way to not mess up succession. Due to confederate partition, most of your sons will be "heirs" half the time and are disallowed from joining as a beneficiary.

Imo, as a way to get around partition (partially at least) and to motivate the player to participate in crusades more we should be able to nominate non-primary heirs for a place in the crusader state. They should gain a trait or modifier which removes them from their regular succession

Looking like a good time to convert to Islam.

Keeping Catholicism alive should not be a full time job.

    Posted: 16 Oct 2020 10:08 PM PDT

Between heresys, failed cursades and sinful archbishops, it seems like converting AWAY from Catholicism is the less stressful choice instead of staying Catholic. When it should really be the opposite.

    Paradox please fix Catholicism...

Cultures that should be added in later patches (List)

    Posted: 17 Oct 2020 08:53 AM PDT

    Hi all,

Crusader Kings 3 is a very accurate game when it comes to events and historical accuracy. Unfortunately, when it comes to culture, many cultures have been ignored. Here's a list of cultures (from Europe, I'm not too familiar with cultures from anywhere else, so if there's ones from other areas I missed, please, feel free to add your own) that I think need to be added soon.

    - Albanian (not in game, and I'm sure Albanians exist)
    - Austrian (should split off when Austria forms)
    - Icelandic (should split off of Norse or maybe split off of Norwegian)
    - Swiss (should split off when Switzerland forms)
    - Venetian/Piedmontese (should split off of Cisalpine)
    - Lombard should migrate north throughout the campaign
    - Gascon should split off of Occitan
    - Romanian should evolve from Vlach
    - Turkish culture should form when the Byzantines lose Anatolia
    - Sorbian culture should exist (very small area but nonetheless, Sorbians still exist to this day)
    - Tatar cultures should form where the Golden Horde was. Crimean and Mishar are not in game.
    - Azeri and Luri culture should break away from Persian
    - Frisian culture needs to be brought back into the game. It's in the files but it's not being used.
    - Russian culture should break up into Ruthenian, Ryzanian, Novgorodian, Muscovite, and Byelorussian during the campaign
    - Karelian culture should exist and be in the Balto-Finnic group

That's all I can think of, but I'm sure others know more. Sorry if this seems unnecessary, I just wanted to rant.
