Jeanne d'Arc is a mother of my heir :D

I didn't use cheats or anything like that. When Jeanne appeared at my court I had an option to seduce her and I managed to do so. She lost a celibate trait, and when my emperor died I married her as the new emperor.

She gave birth to two sons. When she gave birth to the first one, she had a vision of angels lifting the child :D And the child gained a genius trait :D I had to change my succesion law, because I had ultrimogeniture :D

What a pitty all this happened when only few decades left till the end of the game :(

EDIT: what do I have to do so that the picture is visable in the preview just like in other posts?

Why can't I push this Strong Claim?

Why can't I push this Strong Claim?

Playing Monarch's Journey on CK2 as Duke Pavao of Croatia.

One of the objectives is to seize a load of land in Croatia and become King. To this end, I've been inviting Count level heirs from neighbouring Duchies and landing them as my vassals, so hopefully I can start Usurping Duchies. Not 100% sure this will work but worth a go right?

In addition to that I started a "Fabricate a Claim on the Kingdom of Croatia" plot. I married my younger sons off to princesses of much larger countries, so I have some wicked alliances and I'm ready to grab the Kingdom.

The King of Croatia title is currently held by my liege, who is also King of Hungary. Everyone hated him so I got a Strong Claim on Kingdom of Croatia quite easily with the plot, and then I had him assassinated since I had marriage ties that were preventing me war deccing for the throne.

However...there is now a child King of Hungary and Croatia, and I have no marriage ties or Non-Aggression Pact with him...but I can't press my new strong claim.

The reason given for this is "No valid Casus Belli", but this doesn't make any sense. I clearly have a strong claim on his secondary king title, and as a child he counts as a weak ruler so I don't get why I can't attack with the obvious CB?

Any ideas what on earth could be causing this? Screenies below.

Is it anything to do with him being my Liege? Do I have to win an independence war before I win a war for Croatia?

    EDIT -

I just realised I am also a Tributary State of Hungary and they are my "suzerain" as well as my liege. Perhaps this is something to do with it?

My character's strong claim on the Kingdom of Croatia

My liege, who I apparently have \"no Casus Belli\" to attack???
