    I am not am amateur player in my own humble oppinion. But I find myself slightly bored at early game if I am not playing with Norse.

    Say I begin with the Theme of Hellas, for many-many years I cant do much. I cant raid like the Norse or Hungarians, so I spend most of my time just waiting for that agonisingly slow monthly income and for an event to pop-up...

    Am I doing something wrong? Or just I have to accept that if you start as lord, not king, then there are 'slow periods'?

    Could someone explain how to get a bloodline I assumed it was passed from parent to child but this appears not to be the case. My King's mother had it but he does not have it also his wife has it but none of his daughters got it?

    Tips from good people

    So me and my friends are going to start in 936. We have all aimed to form one of the Empires. I will play as West Francia to form.... Francia (so shocking I know). I'm not new to the game, but I've only ever played somewhere in the British Isles (not england). Any tips? My friend is making the rules unlimited desmeses and vassals (cuz we are playing with a new guy, who is going to form Scandinavia)

    My third friend who is most experienced is playing England to form Britannia
