| Crusader Universalis Dev Diary #4: Religion! Posted: Hello everyone! I'm /u/UberEpicZach, the lead representative of ***Crusader Universalis*** and welcome to our Fourth Dev Diary for the Crusader Universalis mod project. What's Crusader Universalis? Crusader Universalis is a mod set in the year 1444 and that bridges the two Paradox games, Europa Universalis and Crusader Kings III, into one single mod together, Today we will be talking about RELIGION! Religion and Faith A lot of questions we've been asked while developing the mod have been about religion—how will the Reformation work? How will we show the clash between the Holy Roman Empire and the Ottomans? Will the Hussites appear? Well, we're happy today to announce our plans for Faiths! In history at our game start of 1444, we were mere decades away from the Wars of Religion throughout history, and we felt the BEST way to represent this was through Hololive waifus - battling each other for religious supremacy!!! First off, we replaced all vanilla faiths with our favorite selection of idols. All of them share one thing in particular, a vtuber worship tenet, intended to show the common connection between all people no matter beliefs. # how can we have Japanese characters in the game, without Japan? That's why we decided to add the Land of the Rising along with this. Incidentally, the island will have TWO faiths: Shinto and Ikko-Ikki, to be represented with Mikoism and Ayameism in the near future. Will you play the Elite 35 or the niche but dedicated oni fans? Here are some notes for other religions and their peculiarities!- Pekoraism can only be found in Easter Island, there's a 1/10 chance that all dialogue in the game ends with 'peko'!- Fubukism can only be found in places where corn is grown or near the artic, she forbids marriage in exchange of strong chastity buffs. Heirs are adopted !- Rushianism can only be converted to when you form Russia, it also gives Rushian provinces a spreading vodka modifier!- Suiseism covers the entirety of France, because she's queen, with a new head of faith mechanic, she can order executions on anyone of her own faith! | How do I get better at kidnapping women? Posted: I'm playing a Norse character and trying to do some eugenics. Since my religion allows concubines I'm trying to kidnap some with good traits and force them to be my concubines to increase the benefit to my gene pool, but my kidnap attempts tend to fail a lot.
