    Hey guys, could you point me to some interesting muslim starting characters? There will be however few prerequisites:

    • low tier (duke, or ever better, count) - I really like the climb to king/emperor titles and the overall change in gameplay it causes;
    • not a merchant republic or steppe horde, I would like to play a bit with iqta government, decadence and hajj mechanics.

    Have no problem with challenging starts, but prefer just interesting circumstances. Achievement unlocking opportunity is a nice bonus.

    Are you not able to become a saint in the Orthodox Church or is it just harder? I've done the exact same things I've done as a catholic (in which 4 of the previous characters I played were all consecutively beatified) but it just doesn't ever seem to happen. Also of note, how long does it take for beatified to become saints?
