TBH, the first thing I do is to grant Cherson its independence so I don't have to deal with his BS.

    Children’s Crusade

I'm playing as the King of England, and I got the Children's Crusade event. I decided to support it for fun, and one thing led to another, and now there's an allied army stack of 49k light infantry and archers sitting in Cornwall. With no boats. What am I supposed to do?

    Am i immortal?

    Posted: 17 Mar 2020 09:52 AM PDT

So i just got CKII today, and i have the dlc which gives immortality. I immediately skipped the event, and use console command to find my char ID. Then i used the "add_trail immortal charID" to make myself immortal.

It does show immortal as a trait on my trait lists. But i read on reddit that you are immortal only if there is the "immortal: yes" flag activated. Thing is, i have no idea how to check the flag. Does it appear if i enter charinfo then hover my mouse over my own potrait? Because if it does, it isnt showing.

I dont wanna sink hours on my immortal character only for him to die of old age.

Also, is it possible to make my spouse immortal using the same command?

    Historical empire of Italia

    Posted: 17 Mar 2020 08:51 AM PDT

Playing this game has made me realize just how little I know about history, and really makes me want to learn more.

I've always been confused by the fact that you can't create the Roman Empire as Italy, only the Empire of Italia. Seems weird to me that the game treats the Byzantine Empire as the only "true" Roman Empire.

Can anyone shed some light on this? I have never heard of the Empire of Italia, is there any historical basis for it? Any suggested reading/watching for where to learn more?
