Do you think Paradox is going to keep giving some DLC for free?

    Posted: 16 Mar 2020 05:55 AM PDT

    17/10 - CK2 became free

15/11 - Sword of Islam free

23/01 - Sons of Abraham free

    08/03 - Reaper's Due free

    Also, Old Gods free

If they keep doing this, next DLC might became free until late April or early May. They might keep doing this until CK3 release. Its a genius marketing for the game for some reasons:

1 - Keeps people interesting and playing the game.

2 - Brings new players to the game.

    3 - Increases the hype for CK3.

I'm very new in CK2 and this is my 1st Paradox game, so I dont know exactly how Paradox normally works. But I think this is great for the game and players.

So im an empress my husband is my commander, who raised me since i was 5. Weird but okay. We married and i invited him to the royal bedchamber to seduce him. He wasnt in the mood so he stabbed me with a frickin dagger but i managed to run away. We still liked each other. And the pope thought this was a okay, we should stay married. So i did what i could, i imprisoned him and cut off his arm. We didnt like each other anymore. Thankfully i was clumsy and he died to infection. Why not plot to kill. I wanted him to know it was me who ended him. God i love this game

    > Be me, Augustus Damianus Doukas of the reconstituted Roman Empire, from the immortal blood of Alexander the Great.
    > Recently elected, declares war for France against the g*rm confederation empire (HRE).
    >Wins the war with the Strengh of Jupiter.
    >Vassals unhappy because of my holded titles.
    >Begins distributing titles in Gaul.
    >Give my second son the Duchy of Paris and all four counties in it. +100 Opinion of me.
    >Vassals rebel as i'm revoking infidel orthodox g*rms titles.
    >My son of a bitch son joins them, in a war to put a distante relative on throne.
    >Too much for me.
    >Rage quits out of frustration.

But, seriously, not the first time people how just gained a title from me (lowborn with nothing), people who like me, joins factions against me, what is the freaking logic of the game?

Does Prepare invasion give me more men against Bigger foes?

    Posted: 16 Mar 2020 04:34 AM PDT

So will Prepare invasion give me more men against bigger foes? Like if my enemy has 120k dudes will it give me a fraction of that? Or is it a set like 5-10k dudes? Does it matter how large I am? I was a thriving dynasty but i joined the Byzantium so I could seed it with my kings. So every now and then my successor is a wee duke allowing me to invade.

    So help?
