    Found a wierd man in my dungeon.

    So I was playing Zoroastrian Persia on The old gods start date. About a hundred years in I had fought a colossal war against a successor state of the Abbassids, and had about 50 people in my dungeons. I had conquered a massive chunk of territory in the war and had 75 threat level.

    I decided to take it slow for a while burning down threat, so I looked at my prisoners. I found a Eunuch. I decided to leave him there for a while, and later noticed that he was not a eunuch anymore, because he had seduced my wife. Don't ask me how, he was still in the dungeon.

    Decided to investigate and joined the satanists to see if he was one of them. Indeed he was one of them. He was, in fact, the high priest. I had the high satanist priest and former eunuch in my dungeon. I am considering to maybe sacrifice him to satan, or maybe make my heir Greek to castrate him again. What should I do?

    Throughout my time playing CKII, i've noticed little things I wish were part of the game, or were tweaked by a mod or something. If a mod exists for this, please do inform me.

    ​

    1: When a character (over 50) dies, it should revert back to the middle-age portrait for them. It'd be nice to be able to see what they (likely) looked like most of their life, instead of having them all look super old and weird when looking back through histories, family trees, etc. It's especially annoying when you have you're 51 year old king die and now he'll be remembered looking like a shriveled up hag for the rest of time.

    2: A Whitelist of names people of you're dynasty are allowed to name their kids. I'm the type of player who tries to make it so all my vassals are members of my own dynasty/house. But I'm sick of having to pause the game every 9 years and go through the hundred-or-so new children of my dynasty within my realm and go through them to make sure none of them have stupid names. It'd be nice if there was a mod that you could create a whitelist of approved names for each gender, but also making sure they don't share a name with any siblings and with a preference towards being names after parents or grandparents that have names on the whitelist.

    3: Outside countries shouldn't be able to declare war on those who are rebelling against you. Too often i'll have like 80 or 90% warscore against the rebel faction, and some outside ruler will declare war on them, and so the rebels will ask for a white peace. And if you refuse, and the outsiders occupy some of their land, you literally cannot make peace with them! I want to revoke the titles of the bastards who dare to rebel against me, dammit! I don't want to be forced to white peace, or to be hostile towards some other force while I try to sweep up after them and make sure they don't hold any territory of the rebels!

    4: Women from my dynasty should, by default, look for matrilineal marriages when marrying outside the dynasty. I'm tired of granting a county or a duchy to someone in my dynasty, only for a few generations down the line, it being inherited by a woman with a regular marriage to someone outside the dynasty, so it ends up being no longer in my dynasty and I have to revoke it and give it to someone else in the dynasty, which ends up pissing off all my vassals and occasionally leads to civil war. Even stupider, i've had a few similar cases, where instead it's a man from my dynasty who's matrilineally married to someone outside the dynasty. Gosh dangit!

    I guess that's just my little wishful thinking rant for today. But I had to get this off my chest. Hopefully I'm not alone and some of you all agree with me on these.

    TLDR: Dead people should have middle-aged portraits, Dynasty members should be named from a custom name whitelist, outsiders shouldn't be able to declare war on those rebelling against you, and women from your dynasty should attempt to marry matrilineally.

    I'm playing as the Norse Gaelic High King of Ireland and I'm going to Embrace Fratcelli I'm the heir to the Benedictine Order and I intend to in about the next 10 years embrace the heresy and use all the points I have collected to convert a ton of provinces before the order has time to kick me out. I will in order to make things interesting take rome for five minutes so as to set up the Fratcelli Papacy but In Ireland, then let go of Rome.

    My Culture allows for raiding infidels and has seafaring so hopfully the Ai will start raiding more. (thanks HIP)

    While I have that sorted out I'm wondering if anyone else has any advice to help Maintain this Heresy as a National Church of Ireland?

    My friends ck2 isn't working and the paradox plaza is suggesting that he should start it in 640 x 480 mode but it is grayed out, any idea why?
