I've trained my cats well, but I'd better have my physician check them for food-poisoning. I always get that when I eat people.

Am I the only one who is annoyed by vassals expanding on their own?

    Posted: 08 Jan 2020 05:51 AM PST

I've reached one of the most annoying points in a CK2 game for me. I'm spending most of my energy actively trying to STOP my realm from expanding. My vassals went into a direction that I really didn't want and created a horrible amount of border gore in the process and there seems to be little I can really do to stop them. On top of that they keep my threat at a uncomfortably high level, and while I've just managed to limit their ability to wage war they still manage to get around that because the law doesn't apply to all my kingdoms.

Am I the only one who is being driven crazy by this?

Sorry, had to vent a bit. :))

Have you ever felt real guilt over anything you did in the game?

    Posted: 08 Jan 2020 12:58 PM PST

My "Kind" and "Zealous" character just killed a 5-year old girl so my vassal could inherit her title. And I'm feeling actually shitty about it.

Frankly I hope CK3 implements some type of guilty conscious mechanism for this sort of thing....

I just made a child of destiny, the leader of the wolf warriors mind you, run in fear during a duel.
