Really hoping for some in depth papal politics for CK3

    Posted: 03 Dec 2019 08:07 AM PST

I'm hoping the back-end gets major renovations with the new iteration of Clausewitz, and with it this time things like the pope get handled better. Mods aside, Paradox has already said they want this to be more historically accurate. I'd love at some point if we get some of the more... interesting papal events (benedict IX, Pre-Celestine V deadlock, that whole French Papacy V HRE Papacy... not pope, but the entire papacy.) That type of stuff.

Oh, and I'm guessing this time (I'm really hoping this time), the devs future proof their programming and don't create a CK2 pope problem, that is you can't get rid of the pope because it screws about with the events. It bit them in the ass as much as it did modders, so I doubt that'd be a problem. Hopefully if PDX doesn't do it, modders will.

    Posted: 03 Dec 2019 12:17 PM PST

I personally am in an MP with 127 players. I was wondering if this is the biggest MP yet, have you guys ever heard of something bigger? is this a record?

So I did the immortality chain and it led to me being reincarnated to an unlanded character so it goes game over instantly. Is there any way to change this Or should I just go for the failure option and move on?

    Fuck Duels

    Posted: 03 Dec 2019 12:04 PM PST

Duels are the dumbest shit ever I can't stress how much I hate them sometimes, just played a badass Finnish warlord that had years worth of combat experience in the bag and a massive army and over 20 martial, lose to a 10 years deceased snail of a human with 10 combat experience.

    First DLC?

    Posted: 03 Dec 2019 10:26 AM PST

So I've only been playing crusader kings 2 for about 6 month but have become highly addicted to it.

At the moment I only have the base game but am seriously thinking about buying some DLC for it. But which one should I get first and why?
