As Mill said; women are 50% of the population; therefore any arbitrary discrimination on sex hurts society as it holds back a whopping 50% of the population while freeing up their roles for less qualified candidates. I've noticed this in game as well; they're been several instances where I was forced to give away land to a less qualified courier; promote less competent council men, and choose a less than worthy heir soley because of medieval sexism. As such as soon as I can insistute primgeniture; I'm going to start increasing the status of women. Are there any disadvantages of this? What are the opportunity costs?
