The one thing I don't wanna see in CK3... Posted: 21 Oct 2019 08:02 AM PDT "Cannot usurp title from someone who is at war." Seriosly, Paradox: Don't! The other guy lost his land fair and square, it's mine now. If he can't defend his shit it's not my problem. He has to deal with it. [link] [comments]

Posted: 21 Oct 2019 08:23 AM PDT People here talk a lot about how in some cases a lord could be paying fealty to two different overlords, one of those beign himself (King of England and Duchy of Normandy), as it is a basic part of how the system worked and is not represented in CK2. But in reality, the major problem regarding the lack of proper feudal systems in CK2 lays in the power a lige holds over his vassals, who always provide troops unless at negative opinion (wich is hard to do to be hosnest, with so many modifiers and monastic orders around). Therefor, my hope for CK3 is that we get a proper and flexible representation of the deterioration of lord-liege relations as a whole through the centuries, where in most cases they would not help each other or even be called into their wars. Internal almiances would be a thing, and the realm politics would thrive with nobles and the king embrolied in aliances that determine their relative strength, and not all beign black or white on wether a faction has the power or not to win. PD: your vassals would be quasy independient rulers that actually only pay lip service to you unless you achivenactual dominance or are alied to them. [link] [comments]
