What's with the ghost girl in the art that goes along with this event, and I don't remember the picture for this event being so detailed.

Anyone else slightly bummed by the character color scheme?

    Posted: 20 Aug 2020 04:21 AM PDT

Don't get me wrong I love everything else about the character designs. I think they look fantastic and is exactly in line with what CK needs. Something about the color/lighting scheme makes them blend too much together though, characters don't "pop" from each other enough and end up looking less distinct than their unique designs would otherwise warrant. From a gameplay perspective this makes them less memorable and harder to sort in your head. Hopefully this is due to the lighting, and not inherent to the textures, so that it can be easily modded. Medieval people tended to love bright colors that made them stick out after all.

It is clear, when choosing color scheme, that Paradox wanted to aim for a medieval family portrayal like this, while I would have much preferred they went for a portrayal more like this.

Other than that I am super stoked for CK3. The Dev diaries have shown a surprising attention to nuance and they definitely seem to be pushing things in the right direction.

Will CK3 allow you to chose executions?

    Posted: 20 Aug 2020 12:17 PM PDT

It's just that I always found it kind of ridiculous that some random 16 year old get hung drawn and quartered while my arch nemesis is simply beheaded. Will we have control over this in CK3?

Thank you for anyone who takes the time to answer!

What do you expect as DLC for CK3

    Posted: 20 Aug 2020 09:30 AM PDT

Well basically what the title says, sure there are probably some features that Paradox hasn't shown so far but we overall know what to expect from the release.

So what things you would like to see improved/added in a DLC. I for one would really like a population system.

How many 'warrior lodge' bloodlines can be founded by different characters per "legendary gathering"?

    Posted: 20 Aug 2020 08:24 AM PDT

During my last campaign in Norse Scandinavia (769 startdate) the father of Ragnar completed the warrior lodge event chain. But when I checked "bloodlines created" tab at the warrior lodge table, I saw two dudes who (I think) had been included in the events etc, also found a different bloodline at the same time.

So one event chain technically created three distinct bloodlines spread out over three characters. This peaked my interest because I didn't see it happen before. Now my question is how likely that actually is to happen.

Is it a bug? Can more than three people create one simultaniously? What or is there even an upper limit on this?

My litteral thirst for blood recently with trying to acquire as many bloodlines as possible, as fast as possible, needs to know the answers lmao. Current record (after getting bored) was 9 or 10 in 3 generations of characters.
