Idk about you guys, but every time I play I always reach a point where I don't even read the messages anymore. Just click on whatever button gives me most benefit and move on. Sometimes if the first option is positive I won't even look at the other options.

This is because there's just too many messages. Every in-game day you get one it seems, if your empire is big enough. And every time they pause the game.

Last game I played my emperor died and his 1 year old son assumed the throne, hit that speed 5 to get into adult age asap. But being speed 5 almost made no difference, because I kept getting these messages every few seconds.

Or being in a war and getting so many Defeat/Victory messages I end up not being able to see my army being attacked again, or even figure out whos sieging what and battling who.

I really hope they find a way to make them less intrusive and less frequent.
