Playing ck2 and watching world's politic teach me a lot

    Posted: 22 Mar 2020 09:28 AM PDT

Hong Kong wants independence cause we don't want our liege to use our money on stupid shit, or have to follow our liege laws.
China doesn't want to give up Hong Kong because of money and expansion.
I also used to think evil parents pressured their daughter to marry. But after ck2 I understand why.
    I love ck2

    Return of the King

    Posted: 21 Mar 2020 12:49 PM PDT

How are you all this strong ??

    Posted: 22 Mar 2020 09:33 AM PDT

It's a true question. How do you doing to create huge empire by start at nothing ??

Always my vassals, when I become a king and play one or two generations, start to rebels and literally destroyed what I create in one or two fucking century... And, of , that goes without saying, I don't play with the Conclave, because I can't succeed anything...

I spend all of my money in gifts... But the don't like me, even when I give title

So, my question: How do you do to manage your vassals and your conquest ??

    Getting imprisoned by a vassal?

    Posted: 22 Mar 2020 03:09 AM PDT

Real talk there needs to be a feature where if a vassal is plotting against you, and an event fires where the plot is put in motion but instead of you dying he captures you, there needs to be something where you can try to get your other vassals to threaten to attack him. My current emperor got kidnapped by the son of a previous viceroy who I had to kill, and yeah he's a little bitter about that, moreover, he's a duke under a viceroy king who adores me, so surely there needs to be something to call out to his immediate liege and help me out. I mean I'm the Roman emperor for god's sake, son of the great restorer, true heir to Alexander, the conquerer of Palestine and founder of the neohellenic faith, you'd think someone would do something about it

Can’t press the claim of my wife?

    Posted: 22 Mar 2020 10:38 AM PDT

Playing a game as William 'The Conquerer' and my wife has a weak claim on the kingdom of France. When I go to the declare war screen, the war goal to press her claim isn't there. Do I have to wait till my next king to press her claim since she's my wife?

    Is pillaging Profitable?

    Posted: 22 Mar 2020 10:35 AM PDT

When you go to war, you can loot gold depending on how much siege you've done, but it feels like army upkeep is Leagues more expensive then anything i can take from besieged provinces, and so it's far better to end a war the second you can, at least monetarily speaking.

Am i wrong or missing something? Because I've heard of "going to war for money', but i don't see how that could be done.

I inherited a debt when the King of Castille died in the Learning Scenario. I want to pay back the Jewish Moneylenders because I've got plenty of money but I can't seem to understand the procedure.
