    My most successful Ironman game yet! Started in the Viking Age as the Petty King of Viken. So freaking close to getting the Roman Empire restored, but lost my weak claim on the Byzantine Empire after my emperor died in 1441.

    What are some great diplomacy/war mods?

    I've played this game to death and I still love it, but what's always bothered me is the lack of real dynamic peace treaties and also the lack of some diplomatic options.

    I hate that if someone declares war on me, I can't punish them by taking lands from them after they've battled me, I would gladly trade that away just to take a few of their provinces. I also hate that something massive like a great conquest between empires can only be boiled down to 3 provinces. Are there any mods that can alter that to be more like EU4?

    I was also going to ask if there are any mods that add in new diplomatic options. I hate France in my game, for example, is currently being eaten up by the HRE, but they refuse to even start an alliance with me, Hispania, because they're worried about "Political Concerns" which just sounds completely stupid when they have a 100 opinion of you, have a common enemy, and are currently losing land.

    im King Henrique II of Portugal,he was the first ruler in 200 years that had good enough marshall to lead the armies.

    it was late 1300s,early 1400s,i was starting t get sick of the game,(not ck2)but my game as Portugal because i felt i didnt have anywhere else to go,i had most of iberia but i will never get it all,because the hre is WAY TOO MUCH POWERFUL,they had at ease more 50k troops than me at the time,in time i could expelled france and galicia out of iberia,but not the hre,so i started looking elsewhere and i got claims and the hability to press claims on cornwall and ireland,but i turn to what it was the only north africa nation that wasnt european and i got three new counties,wasnt it worth it,i dont know,i lost so many troops trying to get 3 counties,i was caught by suprised by the low atrittion but then i got an ultimatum

    some count or duke hated me and revolted,his demand was that i resign as King for my 8 YEAR OLD DAUGHTER,but THEN a claimant came

    King Rodrigo for Portugal,he was of my dinasty and he had a strong claim because he was the grandson or great grandson of a King Egas

    his army was really big,i couldnt win,i didnt have enough money and no allies,i was dommed,so i surrender for the first war thinking that way rodrigo war gets killed,but nop, i resign my daughter took over,then i resign again and i surrender for rodrigo,i though,since he is of my dinasty,that means im gonna play as him,right,WRONG,i discover you always play as the holder of your primary title,but since i was stripped of the kingdom,i got the duchie,so now i only had the duchie of Portucale

    AND DIDNT HAVE THE ENTIRE DUCHIE,Bragança was the new capital of kingdom,so there i was a 9 year old with a really shitty steadwarship,i had 1 and on top of it all,my new king made the giant mistake of creating the kingdom of leon,i knew in the moment sonner or later,leon would be independent once more,i had destroyed leon centuries ago,i was so fucked,Leonor wanted her birthright,she deserve to be queen of Portugal

    THEN A LIGHT CAME THROUGH THE DARKNESS,my sister was the duchess of beja and the duchess of galicia and she also had the county of Lisboa,Lisboa was one of the counties i always kept for myself as king or queen,it was the second county that provided me with more troops,3.6k,only Porto beats that,our father was our heir,to galicia,portucale,beja and lisboa,the next line was me for galica,beja and lisboa and my sister for portucale,so naturally i put both my father and sister on my kill list,both i couldnt do shit until i hit 16,so i waited,meanwhile i put my steward to my guardian,i bethored myself to a guy with 5 stweard,i know its shitty,but mine was 1,i was desepered,i bethored my half sister for alliances,just before i hit 16 i invited my father to court,i tried to get him excommonnicated but the pope never grants my wishes,like never,only with antipope which i couldnt do because i wasnt independent,so imprision my father and killed him,i guess since he had kinslayer,so one gave a shit and i didnt get kinslayer,i tried to get my sister killed,but that went nowhere,meanwhile,the shitty King Rodrigo wage like 4 fucking wars at once,i was so broke,it reache -470/-450,he wage war against galicia for a holding,then for a county,then against venice with genoa backup,the england for a barony,the hre also i think,he only won 1 or two,the rest was white peace,after a few years he died and his son King Estevão IV took place,he was also the King of Leon,i notice that the line of sucession was ALL FEMALE,some girls and a couple of women,so i started a plot to kill the king and i started a faction to put myself on the throne(question how do you invite people to your faction)

    back to my sister,with our father dead,i declared war for Lisboa,since i had double the troops,i won easily,i let time pass to go back to full strenght until some count Egas starts a revolt to be king,his line of sucession was more clear,so that couldnt fly,i entered the war,by luck the king died,so his war got cancelled,after two children,including a strong son,i needed a husband with better stweardship,so i imprision mine and killed him,then got one with 20 stweard,i made alliance with the kingdom of leon,now with a different ruler and the duke of seville,so with almost 13k,mine alone plus allies,plus enough money for mercs if needed,i gave the new queen the ultimatum,weirdly seville fuck off of the aliance,leon got a civil war for elective monarchy,but the weirdest part is that the queen had an army of 16k,the queen only had two counties that at most could summon 7k,i had 89% of the queen troops,she didnt have much money,so she couldnt hire that many,she didnt had allies,she should only have 4k,maybe 5k,but whatever,with that news i bought 8.6k mercs,eventually i won

    Queen Leonor,the first of her Name,two time queen,she was only queen for a brief months in her childhood,but she got the taste of power,she wanted her birthright and she conquered it with Blood and Steel

    a little bit of her early reign

    i inherit a war with a duchess of the hre for a county in africa,i lost,Leon got bragança and plasencia and asked for my help with the civil war,i immediatly fuck off becuase i wanted war with Leon,not friendship,its use was because i feared they could allie themselves with Queen Branca who i deposed,so i also broke the bethodhals of my children,it was for the alliance,no longer useful,i FUCKING freaked out when i discover Beja and Galicia could go for the byzantine empire,because my niece was their vassal,so i revoke the duchie of beja,galicia and the county of lugo of my sister,then i declared war on leon for bragança,went very well,so far thats it,going back to duchess revoke my interess for this playthrough,its only 25 years until the end,im going until 1453

    My wife stole my children and now I can't marry them to claimants

    I am absolutely flabbergasted, I pressed my wife's claims to an island off of italy, and after conquering it, she moved there AND TOOK ALL OF OUR CHILDREN, AND THEY REFUSE TO LEAVE HER COURT. This is fucking rage inducing because france is in the middle of a huge civil war with a child as the king, and if I could marry any of my kids to a single claimant, I could easily conquer france, BUT MY DUMB FUCK KIDS are sitting around in Italy doing fuck all.

    What can I do here?
