Paradox nailed some of the details in game.

I was worried about CK3 not paying as much attention to historical details as CK2 did, particularly when it comes to characters and regions, until I played in Sardinia in 1066.

First of all, it's divided up into 4 separate counties called judicadus in game. Not only is that the correct name, but they are divided perfectly how they were in 1066 with the correct capitals and county COAs. Each is ruled by judikes with historically accurate rulers, and not just the rulers, the family that we know of are included as well, even a few dead ones in the dynasty trees.

When you go to the bishopric in Cagliari (bishopric of Iglesias), it's the historically accurate bishopric and even starts with a special mining building since in real life the area had been known for it's mining. The only other place that isn't a county capital on Sardinia is Porto Torres, which was an important city at the time.

I'm not from anywhere near the area, I just went down a Google search rabbit hole when I wondered why my character was called a judike. Just want to give Paradox props, but am also wondering why the hell they don't have Wikipedia links for characters like they did in CK2...
