R5: Legit 96 diplomacy ruler, broken, overpowered, adding 2000 realm size

TL/DR: When you're small, martial is godly because you can churn out 2k troops out of 800 demesne, but after you blob so large, diplomacy wins - by far.

Tips/strategy will be put on the first comment, because it feels soooo wrong just to brag without giving anything back to this community.

Empress Yennefer av Vengerberg was menacing, in a lifetime she went from the petty queen of Kornugardr into the empress of Rus. Her threat level was constantly at 100%, and tens of thousands of her retinue is a constant reminder that she is a threat.

However, when the pagans, the nomads, the lords, and even the pope formed a defensive pact against her, she was defeated.

Her great-granddaughter, the Kaiserin, however, is a cut above, because she has something that the mighty empress has never had.

So feared is the Kaiserin that rulers across religion and continent dubbed her as their ultimate adversary: the devil.

The Kaiserin, at the peak of her diplomatic prowess

When the empress wants more patch of land all she can do is to take it the hard way. She added 300 realm size and that was impressive by all standards.

The Kaiserin, however, can do more. Much, much, more.
The Ynglings, the af Munsos, the Rurikids, knowing the Kaiserin will lead their realm into glory unprecedented, converted, and bend their knees. The Kaiserin added the entire Scandinavian territory into her realm even without raising a single sword.

Two attempts were made against the empress' life, and one of her sons are slain.
On the contrary, when the Kaiserin wanted someone dead, they better be in good terms with the entire court, because with a single flick of the hand, the Kaiserin can turn an adversary into an ally.

I've seen +120 against greedy courtiers, and that's (usually) more than needed

Although the empress was the top dog of the realm, she occasionally had to curry favor, land, money, and humble herself with her most powerful vassals.
Kaiserins' vassals, however, have to understand that having at least 60 personal diplomacy buff, they are mostly alone if they go against her wishes.

Seems like a good future heir, no?

The empress' realm is constantly under threat from pagan raiders and she had to rely on her chancellor to appease her vassals.
When the Kaiserin took the helm, she has at least 50% chance to sow dissent annually and needs to appease no one. Coupled with several raids to weaken the top liege and well-placed assassinations, the once proud and mighty nomad khans turned against each other.

This guy was stressed and hunting focus, peak performance was 39

Although by far she was the greatest threat to the world, the Kaiserin managed to convince the mighty dragon to shatter her rivals. Not once, not twice, but three times. However, not needing the third invasion, she took 10 precious Chinese artifacts instead.

After that, knowing that the once-vassals of mighty empire signed no defensive pact against her, she would declare world war.

Medieval world war, happened three times

    How is this possible?

When civil war hits China, the Kaiserin has the bravest, boldest commander with cultural/religion matching the emperor's preferences. When a plague hits China, the Kaiserin has the wisest, most talented physician.

Courtiers across all religion and culture came to the Kaiserin's court, bearing priceless artifacts, only to have it end at the dragon emperor's lap.

What about the third world war? The Kaiserin moved the capital, adopted local culture into German, dismantled the Slavic Union, and reformed it into the Holy Roman Empire, knowing that rulers only have defensive pact against Slavic Union, not HRE.

After that, she would give away the Germanic province, and reverted back to Constantinople's Norse. She would done it again, forming the Outremer empire - just for the camels.

The Genghis Khan was angry, and would be angrier because he came to a place he has nowhere to go. I kid you not, ever since the Mongols arrived they have been cramped in that tiny patch of land of theirs.

Alas, we know the Kaiserin is very, very old. She's 73. She has cancer. But the realm is as stable as it was when she took the throne over 50 years ago, and it has always been. Can the same be said to the Mongolian Empire?

Did I mention - camels? Because only one tiger can exist in a mountain. The HRE will form into the Empire of Outremer, and forty thousand camels will paint the Mongolian steppe red with blood.

But that, my friend, is a story for another time.

(HIP )Is there any advantage to being a "bad person"?

    Posted: 20 Jun 2020 04:58 AM PDT

Cruel, paranoid, envious, executing prisoners, being a tyrant, homosexual (not homophobic, in CK2 that is a bad thing)

Is having such a character just fun or can it have an advantage in the game? In HIP mode this is practically a political suicide, everyone hates you and you are quickly reduced to an insignificant duke.

It would be interesting to have a "fear" mechanic, in which your vassals did not have the courage to rebel against a tyrannical leader, I hope that the CK3 will bring something like that.

How do I transfer a occupied province to an ally?

    Posted: 20 Jun 2020 12:00 PM PDT

tl:dr I'm new to the game, how do I transfer a occupied province to an ally, I can't find that button.

I'm playing a pagan and I have an ally in my war that is also my son/heir. This is a subjugation war that I started (ambition king of Norway). My son has his own independent province already and I want him to get this one in the peace deal. Google says there should be a button in the province window somewhere but I can't find it. Where is it and what does it look like?
